Floyd Rosenbaum The B.B.C. Brewers
A native of Central Indiana and a lifelong connoisseur of great beer, Floyd Rosenbaum takes great pride in the handcrafted brewing process.

Like most brewers, Floyd enjoys the traditional brewing methods that add subtle aromatic and flavorful nuances to brews, although he is not averse to a little experimentation now and then.

Most of Floyd’s previous beer knowledge came from his homebrewing experiences and in-depth discussions with professional brewers. Rosenbaum became a familiar face around the Bloomington Brewing Co. after it opened in 1995, spending many evenings sampling all the tasty brews. He was the ideal candidate for the Brewer’s Assistant position which opened up in May of 1998 and was promoted to Head Brewer in February of 2000. When he is not busy brewing, Floyd spends his spare time researching the informative columns written by Michael Jackson—the world renowned authority on beer and scotch.

Floyd with a keg Rosenbaum has previously worked in machine maintenance, pipe fitting and even spent some time living in Alaska after a term in the US Army Engineer Fire Department at Fort Richardson, AK. He is enjoying his new position as Head Brewer with all the support his loving wife Beth can offer.
